Who are we?

Hello, my name is Ryan Linley.

After over fifteen years working in the automotive instrument industry, dealing specifically with vintage and classic instrument restorations and recreations, I have researched, designed and recreated by hand or simply repaired or restored many hundreds if not thousands of classic and vintage instruments. From aircraft to amphibious cars, weekend drive to military fighting vehicle and kitcar to supercar, I have been privileged to have been involved in the restoration or recreation of some of the best, worst and most amazing  vehicles in history.

As with all good work, success and promotion follow, which had the unfortunate effect of pushing me further away from the work that started me in the industry and toward the management and training duties of a Technical Director for a very busy classic car instrument company, however success on paper never feels as good as fixing something that was once broken, or creating something new and special from nothing but raw materials and an idea. 

So in 2023, with the support of my family and friends, I have taken the plunge and formed my own business.

Ryan Linley Restoration is able to offer services based on the wealth of experience I have gained over the years, and offer a range of products designed to solve some of the most troublesome restoration problems.
